Allison is a licensed clinical social worker currently practicing psychotherapy locally in the Denver metro area and remotely in the state of California. She was born and raised on the East Coast where she completed both her undergraduate and graduate education.

She attended Skidmore College, in Saratoga Springs, New York where she majored in Psychology with a focus in Neuroscience. She began her career working with young children at Four Winds Hospital in their acute inpatient setting. Allison then relocated to Boston, Massachusetts where she spent a few years working with adults in longitudinal substance abuse research at the Harvard Medical School Affiliate, McLean Hospital. After completion of her research experience, Allison reconnected to her clinical passion by working with adolescents grappling with anxiety, depression and self-harm in residential care at McLean Hospital. She then attended Boston College, where she earned her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work, graduating with honors.

Allison began her post-graduate career in eating disorders and exercise addiction as a Primary Therapist at Monte Nido & Affiliates, under the coveted individual supervision of Carolyn Costin, a world-renowned expert and pioneer in the field. Since moving to Denver, Allison has worked as a staff therapist with Denver University, in their Health and Counseling Center, and with the Eating Disorder Foundation as a Clinical Practicum Supervisor.

Allison is currently in full-time private practice, which is currently located within the Gaudiani Clinic at Rose Medical Center.

In addition to working with clients, Allison enjoys leading preventative educational seminars for middle school and high school students, and has done so most recently at the prestigious, Colorado Academy.

Allison values working collaboratively with fellow therapists, psychiatrists, physicians, dietitians and educators to promote well-being for a wide array of clients. To learn more about her current clinically relevant passions and interests, check out the Read/View/Listen tab of this site.
