Allison is a licensed clinical social worker with a refined expertise in psychotherapy, offering both in-person sessions in the Denver metro area and remote services across Colorado and California. Born and raised on the East Coast, she brings a blend of rigorous academic training and hands-on clinical experience.

Allison’s academic journey began at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, where she majored in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience. Her career started in the acute inpatient setting at Four Winds Hospital, where she worked with young children. She later relocated to Boston, where she spent several years at McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School Affiliate. There, she contributed to groundbreaking longitudinal research on substance abuse before transitioning to clinical work with adolescents confronting anxiety, depression, eating disorders and self-harm in residential care. These formative experiences in intensive hospital-based settings allowed her early exposure to complex casework and cutting edge treatment.

Allison earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston College, graduating with honors, and quickly distinguished herself in the field. She began her post-graduate career as a Primary Therapist specializing in eating disorders and exercise addiction at Monte Nido & Affiliates in Malibu, California. Under the direct mentorship of Carolyn Costin, a globally recognized expert and leader in the field, Allison further refined her approach to treatment, integrating clinical precision with deep empathy, insight and intuition.

Drawing from these varied experiences, Allison brings a holistic approach to therapy. At this point in her career, she works with a wide spectrum of clients. She particularly enjoys partnering with individuals in demanding fields—creatives, leaders, entrepreneurs, professional caregivers and others navigating the complexities of deep passion, high expectations and drive, self-doubt, perfectionism and burnout.

Her therapeutic approach integrates narrative techniques, IFS, existential and feminist theory as well as somatic therapies such as Hakomi and EMDR, offering a comprehensive space for expansion and healing. Her career trajectory, from elite academic institutions to world-class treatment centers, has uniquely equipped her to offer an integrative approach that blends cutting-edge training with a deep understanding of the human experience.

In her psychedelic preparation and integration work, she supports clients from a perspective grounded in therapeutic training while also leaving ample room for the spiritual inquiry that is often pathologized in our modern, medical model of what healing is allowed to be.
